This statistic is used by online players to identify exploitable tendencies, since a high fold-to-3-bet percentage indicates a player who gives up too easily under pressure and can be 3-bet more liberally as a bluff. A low fold-to-3-bet percentage, on the other hand, suggests a player who continues with a wide range and requires more caution or value-heavy 3-betting.
