Alberta became Canada's second competitive iGaming market on July 13, 2026. The iGaming Alberta Act (Bill 48), passed in spring 2025, established the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) as the conduct-and-manage agency, with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) serving as regulator.
