The fourth community card dealt in Texas Hold'em, after the flop. Also called "Fourth Street."

What Is Turn?
The turn is dealt after a single burn card once the flop betting round is complete, and it's followed by another round of betting before the river. In many games, the bet size doubles on the turn compared to earlier streets, particularly in Limit Hold'em.

A turn card completing a player's flush draw from the flop.
A blank turn card that doesn't change the board texture significantly.
Strategy Tips
Reassess your hand's equity and your opponent's likely range on every turn card, since new cards can significantly shift who has the advantage. Pay attention to how the turn changes the board texture -- a card that completes obvious draws should adjust your bet sizing and continuation strategy. Turn barrels, or continuing to bet after betting the flop, should be selected based on both your equity and your fold equity against the opponent's likely continuing range. Use the turn to build toward a well-planned river bet size rather than betting reflexively without a broader plan for the hand.
