What Is Table Change?
Players can typically add their name to a table change list at the floor or front desk if they want to leave a table for reasons like a tough lineup or personal preference. The poker room may also move players involuntarily to balance table sizes as seats open up elsewhere in the room.

Use table change requests as a legitimate table selection tool -- if you're seated among several tough, aggressive regulars, requesting a move can meaningfully improve your win rate. Be aware that involuntary table balancing moves are outside your control and are usually based on seating rules, not opponent difficulty. Keep your table change request active in the background even while playing, so you're ready to move as soon as a better seat opens.
