Widen your preflop opening ranges substantially in heads-up play, since a much larger percentage of random hands have sufficient equity against a single opponent's range. Prioritize positional aggression on the button, since acting last on every postflop street is an even bigger advantage heads-up than in full-ring games. Pay close attention to bet sizing and bluff frequency, since heads-up opponents adapt quickly and predictable patterns are easily exploited.
