What Is Zoom/Fast-Fold?
Fast-fold formats, branded as Zoom Poker on PokerStars and similarly on other sites, pull from a large shared pool of players so that folding instantly places you at a brand-new table and hand. This dramatically increases the number of hands played per hour and eliminates the ability to build reads on specific opponents over time, since you rarely play the same person twice in a row.

Strategy Tips
Since you can't build reads on individual opponents, rely more heavily on population tendencies and solid, default GTO-influenced strategy rather than exploitative reads. Because hands come at you much faster, strong preflop hand selection discipline becomes even more important to avoid costly, rushed decisions. Multi-tabling fast-fold formats requires excellent focus and often specialized HUD setups, since traditional player-specific stats accumulate much more slowly per opponent. Bankroll management is especially important in fast-fold games, since the sheer volume of hands played can accelerate both winning and losing streaks compared to standard formats.
