The next person to make a loan is going to break the $30,000 mark. Who's it gonna be?

I just made one and checked after and saw it was at 29,975 and was coming here to post, so maybe mine did it and it hasn't updated. Or maybe someone else's loan got refunded? Anyway, $30k is an awesome milestone!

New loan. To a Vietnamese woman to buy metal working stuff. Hardcore.

I've been to her neighbourhood actually... as a segment producer for Chinese TV. They were cool people and didn't bat an eyelid when the river broke it's banks during a typhoon. Just business as usual.

This could use a bump. Five new loans into BI2G. Locations are Mongolia to build an energy efficient home, Timor-Leste to open a grocery store, Israel to expand a beauty salon, Costa Rica to purchase a motorcycle for a courier business, and Indonesia to expand a jewelry store.

Milestone/brag - I've loaned over $5,000 since starting with the DC Kiva Challenge, with $3,400 of that being loans that have been repaid and then re-lent.

I suck. I forgot about this while I was away in the land of wine and cheese.

I've made a new loan to Yolanda in Honduras for her coffee fertilizer.

I hope everyone else is still keeping up with their loans!
