Yeah, iPod download is only available for 1-tabling videos. If you want to download a 2-tabling video and convert it to iPod, we've published instructions in this video. The reason we don't publish 2 and 4-tabling videos for iPod is that they don't hold up to our quality standards because of the size of the iPod screen.

Great video guys, very interesting and just what members are looking for IMO.
re: the A9 hand at around 19:00 in the video when he overbets with 2nd pair (here an 8). The draws missed so you were likely to call, and his line looked bluffy. What do you guys think of his play here ? Doesn't it make us tougher to play against when we show that we can mix up our range like this ? Also it can set him up for later plays if he thinks you will start CR bluffing now that you have seen this.
How would you rate this opponent and his gameplan in general ?
Thx

I don't mind his play early in a match against someone like me who is far more prone to have a bluff catcher on the river than a ten. My range on the river is likely going to be something like a marginal ten, high cards, and then a huge hand getting tricky (weighted away from this, though). Overbetting slightly prevents him from getting checkraised by my high cards (instead, I'll bluff catch or fold them since I should be thinking that overbetting polarizes his hand range to nuts or nothing).
If he thought through all that and also thought that it might encourage me to start checkraise bluffing rivers, then he's going to be a much tougher opponent than I thought. Those are the guys that are a real headache to play where you can get really owned and outleveled if you aren't paying close attention.
In general though, I'll immediately start showing up with a stronger calling range in this spot if I suspect he'll keep v-betting thin (so now fewer bluff catchers and way more tens, and bigger hands), so while that protects him when he wants to float my leads, if he wants to continue value-betting thin he would get picked apart.
I'm setting the over/under for Krantz c/r bluffs @ 2.5 for part 2. Also, if I were a betting man I'd take the over.
Nice vid guys.
You can't set the line and take the over. Geez dude. But I agree Over ftw.

I think you should start check raising a wider range for value on rivers, realizing that your hands are just good often enough and he isn't going to start 3betting you off marginal check/raise hands. Like in the AJ9A4 or something board, and you held JT, you could check raise JT on the river hoping he calls with a worse 9, tens, or even a four.
as far as cbetting goes, since he's kinda meshed his check raise range on the flop to include middle pairs+top pairs you should probably start polarizing your range more. So stop cbetting middle pair yourself, and maybe check back gutshots as well. However, betting top pair etc. is almost mandatory now, as well as stronger draws. Some of the weaker draws you might want to check back. I guess as far as draws go it really helps that his line has been check/raise check, rather than bet, and since his line is this its probably the reason hes put so many middling hands in there.
also you may be able to double barrel more frequently since the middle of his range which was being used to check raise is no longer there to bluffcatch.
just my ideas. maybe i'm off on things. appreciate any feedback.
also i find it kind of interesting. The first time he check raised the Axxr board and showed up with a Q9 type hand, it probably would have been better to valuebet the river than the second time it happens. Since the second time it happens he already knows your valuebetting any top pair hand on the turn, hes much more likely to take a trapping line hoping you just valuecut yourself with AK or something. Rather than betting twice and hoping you call him down super light.
Good vid, also interesting villain.
Hey guys great video,
at 56:40 with the J3o on the right table, how do you feel about overbetting the turn (say 1,5× pot?) since he will nearly always c/r a strong hand on the flop and his most likely holding is a weak ace or worse? Plus you picked up a sexy 4-outer to support your cause ![]()
Great analysis why you should ship the river with that straight, that's one of the spots where I usually freeze and call down but I should definitely be jamming against some opponents.
Btw when I clicked the video it said like 3.9/5 stars but that's been rectified by now (I gave it five stars and I'm not alone!). Pls be next week so we can watch the rest ![]()
just saw the video, very nice job!
Gotta love this series. Awesome Vid,interesting villain aswell. gj guys
My question is relation to around the 30 minute mark. I am interested in understanding why you think you can get respect in that spot to check raise. What do you think you are getting respect for. The only hand that I could give someone credit for A8, set of 4s, and a rare cirumstance of A4 and maybe aceT or AJ depending on my opponent. Other than that it would be a fd depending on the defense bb range. I am always scared to put pressure on these type of boards because I feel like my opponent knows that I am full of it because I usually think my opponent is full of crap when he pressures me on these type of boards due to the fact that almost all the time someone will 3b aj, aq, ak 98 percent of the time.
What do you suggest to incorporate in ones game that will allow him to get credit on this board's check raise more? While Igot a couple of things in mind, I would love to hear your thoughts Krantz.
Does anyone have their HUD configuration that would like to share with me
?
