Ulkis - I will be getting more in-depth in future videos with these and also additional stats and more importantly how to apply these statistics to the state of today's aggressive games.
Around 36:33, how can you fold TPTK? For me, its an easy shove. Preflop I also would 4-Bet him and get in in.

Thanks,

Messiah, I would like to make the following suggestion. I think a Power Point presentation of the stats you want to cover would be great. This would be done in the same format as Wilt on Tilt's The Mathematics of Poker.
Then present hands in the re-player that demonstrate how you used the stats to make your decision. This would be in the same format as Vanessa and DJ Sensi's Unconventional Wisdom.
With a lot of thought and planning you just might be able to get a series out of this. Using stats Pre-Flop. Using stats on the Flop. Using stats on the Turn. Using stats on the River. etc... I smell a hit series in the making.

Are you using IE6, by chance?
Works for me in Firefox on both PC and Mac, but I'm beginning to think there's some compatibility issue with IE6 and a recent revision of the Flash player. Checking with our developers to try to duplicate the problem.

Good video, But this hand, i also dont understand that you fold it on the flop,i prolly woulda push the flop,if not maybe a call,and see the action on the turn,folding no option for me.
Which table overlay do you use ? HUD ?

I dont know how can you give so much credit for an 44/24 LAG on Q66 board in 3bet pot to fold two overs and NFD.
His flop raising range includes lots and lots of air, smaller FD's, any underpair, 6, Qx hands. Against most of this range you are fliping or way ahead. I just cant imagine he would raise with Queens full this flop having position on you. Hes just never having pocket queens here. Or hes just god.
Yea I just saw this video and I also think Messiah did 2 pretty big (and unexpected from us) mistakes. The fold of the AK on that broadway flop, and the fold on the Q66 flop, where if you wouldn't have wanted all the money in (which I think you should want), then you could prolly better didn't bet the flop...? Maybe check-call the flop if not a potsized bet...
I think folding AKs vs the LAG was a huge mistake.
Board: Qs 6s 6c
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 35.129% 34.99% 00.13% 6236 24.00 { AsKs }
Hand 1: 64.871% 64.74% 00.13% 11536 24.00 { QQ+, AQs, AQo }
Almost getting the odds if villain overbet shoved allin. And he's not always slowplaying QQ+ pre and he also has air in his range. In fact, given his stats, I think he has a ton of air and he's just "putting you on AK". He probably also doesn't raise QQ here as he has the board locked and KK+ will stack off anyway on later streets.
The AK fold on the broadway flop wasn't that bad IMO because it's hard to get it in ahead, so you'd have to call and see what he does on the turn instead. As said, you're gonna face a very tough decision on the turn, so folding a hand that could easily be best OOP ain't bad. It's like folding A2o in the blinds vs a button steal. It could easily be the best hand, but it will be hard to turn a profit with it because you're OOP and the hand in general is hard to get value with.
But I don't understand the preflop reasoning. The guy is 3betting light, so he's gonna call AKo OOP? Why no 4bet? If he's 3betting light, shouldn't you 4b almost all your valuehands and also some air? I think AA is much better for calling than AK, if you're gonna call a big hand.
I don't know if you still read this considering the video is almost a year old, but some feedback on this would be appreciated ![]()
