If you are sure he's shoving AQ+, would you call with JJ ?
Here's what I usually do in these situations.
I would reraise to something like 375. If he shoves then fold, if he calls and you flop an overpair I'd be ready to put them all-in.
1000 games gives you a good idea what's your true ROI, but obviously the more the better.
However, you don't really need to play 1000 games at those stakes before moving up.
If you can't beat those lower stakes you won't beat the higher ones.
