Glad to report that today I had a nice day of poker, no real hard decisions. I played generally TAG poker and it feels very comfortable to play. I am happy with how it went today and I want to keep on playing in this way, I get into way less marginal spots and my hands pretty much play themselves postflop. Tonight I spent my time playing 1750 hands of 5NL after winning 50BI @2NL pokerstars games. I continued to play the same TAG style as I was not sure if the recently adapted LAG will be working and also b/c I want to minimize variance of my game as I have only 10BI tolerance for variance otherwise I have to go back to 2NL. Today I decided to push limits of my game further in different directions, namely, Number of Tables, and Hand Range (VPIP/PFR). I win more when I play TAG 20/15/5 than I do when I play LAGGY 27/23/8 this is at small stakes 100nl. Ive never played higher than 200nl, [for a big sample 25k+] and its buggin’ me. I just need to TAG it up more. Sometimes I get brain flatulence and think playing TAG is being a NIT, its not! Playing TAG is playing TAG, Tight and AGgressive!
