finally got a roll together and got HM2 and deposited on Titan and been playing alot, down a little overall happy with my game, got classed a eagle on HM which is a big confindence boost. $5+1 jackpots are my game, lost a lot to 5.50 freezouts (which are usually a god profit for me) so sticking to the plan of playing non stop sit n go’s 4 tables.
After some time off from poker i am clearly a little rusty/over eager… needless to say I’m down quite a bit after sucking out to some bad beats and subsequently tilting to people i should have been crushing. it seemed when i singled out the fish at the table i got bad luck which then followed bad decisions which then followed losses. after the first two days I’m down almost 30$ … decided to drop down to 2nl til i ... (continued)

Merry Christmas fellow DCers! It’s been an awesome year, from having turned 18 in February, i’ve had a rollercoaster year, resulting in, on december 22nd, being busto. Lets break this down, my first bullet, like many others, went in about 3 days, a 100 dollar deposit sent to the HU regulars on a mistimed bluff. After this I decided to employ some even worse bankroll management grinding MTTs, the result, much of the same. ... (continued)
***So DC’s blogs seem to be a little bit bugged right now so hopefully the formatting comes out correctly on this. (This is also why my last post was reposted a day ago) In that last post I talked a little bit about how I was getting the urge to grind again now that things have settled down a bit more. It’s certainly taken a little bit to shake the rust off. The month started off great and about halfway through this ... (continued)
Hey guys, Welcome to my first blog post of my first ever real blog, depending on how the blog itself goes there might be video updates along with hand histories. But for now, it will just be my ramblings about poker and anything else that tickles my fancy. Before I get into what I plan on doing with this blog and the path I take it down, I feel I should use this as my chance for you to get to know a little bit about ... (continued)
Playing results Simply put, it was a good day, a good start. I lost a few hands being sucked out that cost me two all in’s but I also had some good wins I finished the day on $545 which is an increase of $45 (225 BB). I played for about 3 hours this evening and half an hour at lunch. I will beef this up with some actual stats from the session and maybe a couple of hands for comment along with my profit graph but I am lying in b ... (continued)
This is it. The end. Terminus. Finitum . I’ve messed around in poker for a number of years now, from home games to casinos to online. I’ve lost money playing poker for a number of years now, from home games to casinos to online. This is where I draw a line in the sand and move from being a casual player into a winner, this is where I stop riding the variance train to crazy town and grind my way to a ... (continued)
I can’t believe its been a year now. A full year since I came back from Vegas. A full year stuck at this job I don’t particularly like. I’ve learned a lot in that time. I’ve learned more about myself and this crazy game than I ever really thought I would. Looking back on everything, although still painful, I can’t say I regret anything. Without it I wouldn’t be the man I am today or on the right path to becomi ... (continued)
It’s been months since my last post. You may or may not have noticed but I deleted all the previous entries on a whim. This post will be to re-introduce myself as a player, and this blog will be tracking my process in my newest challenge. As for a bit about me, I am a 23 year old male living in Canada and I attend the University of Lethbridge taking Computer science, of which I have one semester left. I’ve been playing poker for qui ... (continued)
