Let's keep telling lawmakers to support our rights. The more we do, the stronger our lobbyists will be on the Hill. This helps in moving legislation, but also helps them in pushing for player-friendly provisions:

- Let's send the House Subcommittee for Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade members tweets requesting a markup for HR 2366: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
- Let's send prefilled, fully editable tweets to Sen Reid, Sen. Kyl, and Sen. McConnell: HERE, HERE, and HERE
- Let's send the Senate Indian Affairs Committee members tweets: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
- Let's post and like pro-poker comments to the Facebook walls of Rep. Ander Crenshaw HERE, Rep. Joseph Crowley HERE, Rep. Danny K. Davis HERE, Rep. Diana DeGette HERE, and Rep. Rosa DeLauro HERE.
- Let's share today's action on our own Facebook walls HERE.

Please reply in this thread with tweeted, done, etc.to encourage others to participate. The past 195 actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

Done. It appears that Congresscritter Flores is deleting our posts though. There always has to be one in the crowd. Tsk.

That's ridiculous

I posted a response, at http://www.facebook.com/BillFloresForCongress/posts/10150666914978757. We'll see how long it lasts, I guess:

Dear Rep. Flores,

I observed many posts advocating for online poker licensing here earlier and am disappointed and dismayed to see that they have been deleted. Poker licensing legislation a legitimate issue for discussion, especially as legislation has been introduced to the Congress (HR 2366, Texas Rep. Joe Barton's Online Poker Act).

Proponents are proud to exercise their rights to free speech and to petition government for redress of grievances -- rights guaranteed to us by the First Amendment. I understand if you wish to make a post regarding your thoughts on the online poker issue and ask that poker comments be made there, but I cannot understand why you would instead seek to silence online poker proponents.

Thank you for your consideration.
