Life after FTP

As a European i've got a much easier situation than other DC members from the USA. I feel really sorry about them and hope situation will be solved soon, however outlooks are not the greatest.

On Black Friday i could withdraw the big part of my bankroll and left only a small part at FTP. After having read more stuff on the forums i decided to withdraw the rest, but it still hasnt arrived yet. As I'm a very cautious person i decided that i will look for a new home for myself. Lately I've tried several EU sites and honestly the reg heavy FTP level fit better to me as I played my best against regulars, really.

So, I've chosen Ongame for my new site. I've registered through DC and dont use any special grey RB offers (I'm a nit). With a nice first depo bonus i will hopefully boost my bankroll and move up soon to NL20.

Traffic is pretty good, plays are supersoft, software is bad, but bearable. Four tables are the max i can play (but it's good, as i didnt want to play more). Seat selection is a pain in the ass, no waiting lists. Momently i play a nice breakeven poker, fishes are tilting me and try to adjust to the totally different style after FTP. Playing like 26/22/7.

My biggest problem is playing against limper fishes, they can totally tilt me after a while and at the moment it's my biggest leak. Working on it.

First impressions:

- no preflop wars: People are just calling pre and only some regs will 3b you. You should give more respect to 3bets, they are more for value. Regs have max 7% 3b, while at FTP there were a lot of 3b monkeys with 10%+ 3b.

- limpers: the site is full with limper fishes. 40/5 and similar guys. They just want to see a board and flop the nuts. I'm struggling with ISO raises against these great players. They just call a lot on any boards.

- random plays: you can expect anything anytime. Limping with AA, mini 3b w trash or monsters etc, slowplaying, trapping on the scariest boards......

- 5 max structure: it's much more intensive than 6max, more action

- baluga theorem is a must on the turn. I was just always crushed with hands 2pairs below.

sounds like what happens to me on 888poker...lol

against limpers, i would suggest tightening up a little bit your iso value range....

Thanks for the tip. I'm experimenting with smaller ISO raise sizes and to be more selective with my cbets. Will see
