Getting close...
Just a quick update on the goings on de Tecmo. I’m in the process of building my new desk for my poker office and hope to have everything set up soon! It’s going to be really f-in sweet and I can’t wait. I’ll post some pix once it’s done.
I recently finished up Deuces Cracked University. Check the Secret HQ section of the forums if you don’t know what it is. I basically created quizzes for each episode of Tubasteve’s series Road to Robusto NL. I kept track of scores and will announce the winner soon :) It was a ton of work, but it has received lots of good feedback and I’m glad I was able to give back to the DC community.
I’ve been doing house stuff (I recently bought my first house!), working on DCU, and coaching as well so I haven’t been able to play much. I’m hoping to change that once my office is all set up. Will be interviewing coaches for me and will likely cut back a bit on coaching others. I’m also looking to finally sink my teeth into Flynn/Miller/Mehta’s book Small Stakes NLHE. I’m hoping to get it printed and bound by a company so that I can physically hold it and really study it.
Currently watching the Saints game on Monday night – man, they sure are exciting to watch. I’m a Bills fan, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the Saints in the Super Bowl!
After reading the AC trip report by PygmyHero, I really wish I could have gone, but alas, I could not make it. After hearing how much fun everyone had, I can’t wait until WSOP ’10. Hoping to stay even longer next year, hang out w/ DC peeps that I have yet to meet, and chill w/ Joe Tall, Krantz and the others again!
