Great day today. Played just over 2 hours for 3k hands and made $2k. It was action packed and there was definitely some heat under my feet.

It felt funny today as the guitarist of my band needed help moving house and he asked me if I could come with my car to lend a hand. I didn't mind but while I was waiting for him to come down stairs I got to thinking. My hourly (on weekends) is ~$250/hr and I helped him move for 2.5 hours. So in theory I lost out on $625 in the time that I helped him move his TV and a table. It's hard not to think in this way when you start making a lot of money per hour. It literally becomes a matter of 'time is money'. But in the end I'm just a nice guy who will always go out of his way to help out a mate!

Took my first day off fitness yesterday and over Friday/Saturday night I had 6 drinks in the span of 24 hours. I'm not sure whether to count that as 1 long bender and only have 1 day used up of my 4 allowed to drink, or be more realistic and only allow myself 2 more drinking days for the rest of the month. I think I'll just play it by ear.

Nails are intact. Guitar has been played a lot (I think for 7.5 hours out of 6 days now) plus we have a big jam session tomorrow hopefully.
