Poker, life, concert, and Seahawks

Hey guys.  Not exactly updating my blog with as much vigor as in the past, but better late then never.  The week has been pretty dull.  Full of run bad and boredom. Had some good study sessions with veloblank.  That helped the most for sure.  Switched over to Holdem Manager.  That is helping also.  I've been paying more attention to opponents and not just pushing anything against anyone.  Although those opponents still wake up with A8 and not like they are calling me wide, but I guess it works out better not to be pushing shitty cards all the time.  Even if it is supposed to be +EV.  Who knows. It's a mystery.  Seems to be working tho.

Let's see if I can do this right with HEM. I played 72 games and made 12.5 buy-ins.  Biggest win of the month.  That's a shocker and very sad, but at least I'm getting back on the right track.  My first set I did HORRIBLE.  Very glad that I bounced back from that.  The game's weren't very reggy at all, which was nice I think.  Although I made a lot of profit off of a couple regs pushing atc against me relentlessly and not adjusting.  Probably my best hand held up about a quarter of the time.  When I win just a few of those hands, I win over all.  I usually lose every single one no matter how far I am ahead.

Earlier today I went to Warped Tour with a friend.  We used tickets from the Van Morrison concert a week earlier.  My friend knew the ticket taker lady and she let us through.  There was about four bands that I actually knew out of about 100.  Which is stupid dumb cause I usually know a lot more than that.  This year really really lacked on semi-popular bands.  I might be getting behind on the times, but there wasn't even close to as much people there as usual.  The one band that was the must see for me, The Rocket Summer, played early at 12:30.  That was awesome cause I didn't want to get there and have to wait forever.  Of course the other three bands I wanted to see didn't play till 6:00pm.  We waited around till about 3:30 and decided to leave.  It was hot as fuck and I was going insane having to wait and wait for several hours in the hot sun.

I got home in the late afternoon and turned on the Mariner game.  Listened to Josh Bard hit a grand slam, which led to a 9-3 win over the Indians.  Then I changed over to the Seahawk game.  They beat the Titans 20-18.  That was super cool and I'm glad that it's finally football season.

Things are going pretty much the same with the girl I've been chatting with.  Still haven't met her.  We are trying to find a weekend that we aren't both busy.  Of course she wanted to come over the weekend that I'm going to be in Vegas,  Yeah that's how I run.

Talk to yallz later.
