Back at the grind...and a trip report.
My weekend went fairly good. As I stated in my last blog I was going clam digging and predicted it would be cold, windy and miserable. Well it actually wasn’t too cold, us here in the Northwest had about a month of winter, and the rest has been 50 plus degrees. It’s nuts and I love it. Clam digging was awesome the first day and I caught about 50 clams. The second day I had to work a little harder and only got about 30. So basically the best I’ve ever done. Here’s a couple of pics, I’m the one in the green haha.
While I was there, my mom and I played a 55 dollar poker tourney at the casino resort they have there. Each player had a $25 bounty, so only 25 of the 55 went into the prize pool. There were only 13 players and they only paid top 2. I took 2 players out, including my mom and got 3rd. We made deal for 3rd to get 35 bucks, so whatever lol. I also made $60 on my favorite slot machine while I was waiting for the tourney to start. Haha, I’m such an old lady. The next night I played 3-8 spread and folded for 7 hours and lost 60 dollars.
Ok, back to the issue at hand. Online poker! I played my normal six sessions of twelve games today. In my opinion I ran shitty as hell. I could not win with my big pocket pairs early in the tournaments to save my life. QQ<JJ, AA<KK, KK<88 and several more. I could tell that I was doing OK though, cause I was winning a few and it seemed like I was at least getting back to even. I don’t like to look at the cashier till after the day is done cause it is way too stressful. One session I got killed and got only like a 2nd and a 3rd, so I was steaming for a bit after that. I kept up the grind and ‘tried’ not to let it get to me. I only blew up on a couple regs. I quickly apologized tho. I’m trying to not chat at all, or at least be nice when I can’t help myself from typing something.
When I got done playing I looked at my cashier with a number in mind that I thought it should be at (I always guess low so I won’t be too depressed) and it was 200 dollars higher than I thought! I was very happy. I thought I actually lost money for the day haha. I love when I’m totally off and it’s for the better.
Well, I gotta eat something before I pass out. Then I need to pick my fiance up at work and then watch some of our TV shows before bed. SO many shows started back up this week! We are so far behind and it’s only been two days.
