weekly update and hangoveress

alright guys,

so I've been playin $6.5 turbos only last week and it was ok, not super good, but I'm satisfied, esp. with my workethic.

I played 100+ games a day and some problems with adjustments in my first 200-300 games but I think I figured the pace of these games out now. They play a lot different than the $3 turbos because it get's shorthanded a lot quicker for some reason and there's a bit more play in mid stage.

Here's the graph:

The 25 BIs DS is kinda brutal atm but thats just variance, lost a lot with dominating hands, couldnt win a flip are one of these 60/40. But its all goood, just keep playin.

Haven't played today cause I'm still hangover as fuck from yesterday. Been to a Hip Hop Concert by Torch and Toni L, one of the best german underground hip hop there is:

Alright guys, that's for it, gonna order some chinese, watch movies and play some donkaments tonight maybe i ship one, haha...

Cheers

last week and live mtt

alright guys,

it’s been a week now that I started my new approach and for the most part everything went quite well.
I started the week with a very nice heater, playing a 30% ROI over the first 250 and just grindin up, afterwards a caught a BE stretch but everythings fine so far.

I’m confident with my game and I now figured out where the better times for playing are, because lately I ran into couple of sessions with pretty taggish guys, where it still was 5-7handed with blinds 200/400 and even 300/600 so thats not good for 3$ SNGs imo, there are def. better spots to play.

I didn’T follow my approach religously and I think I gotta put more focus into HH review, ICM calculations with SNG wiz and stuff. I watched couple of glitlr vids vom snggrinders and finished moshmans book, but I had some spots in my own games I wanted to check up but didn’T do cause i was to lazy.

This is gonna go into my plan the next days and I also gonna try to make specific # of SNGs I wanna play everyday(about 100 prob) or at least 6 days a week atm. Because I didn’T play as much as I wanted to.

Here’s the graph so far:

Other than that I played a live MTT in my local casino on satarday which was quite good for a low BI live MTT. It was 85€(no fee, all prizepool money), 45 minutes blind levels and 15k GTD.

I dont wanna talk too much about it, I think I playd relatively well, made couple of mistakes though and was maybe a little bit too passive in the later stages.

But during play I kinda had this stange feeling in my stomach that I somehow gonna end up the bubble boy, IDK what it was, it just felt like it. Well, guess what happened? Yapp, you’re right. After 10h of play and 160 players gone I ended up 19th whereas 18 got ITM.

Whatcha gonna do, right? Should just stayed at home and grind SNGs all day I guess :D

Nah it was fine, I enjoyed it.

Alright, thats what I got for today.

good luck

changes and update

alright, so I started playin the $5 non turbos yesterday and after about 45 of them I decided I’m gonna switch back to the turbos but I’m gonna play a level below instead. The non turbos are just such a pain in the ass, I was waiting and waiting to finally get into PoF phase that I might have been to impatient probably. So I started insulting people in chat to make the time pass by.

I know I know, no class act to do. But whatcha gonna do we’re on the internet and the internet is just crazy. Whatev.

Yeah, so after the 45 games I stepped down to the $3.4 turbos and it went pretty well.

There weren’t many interesting hands I could post or diffcult ones I have to check out so I’m just gonna post the graph so far. Been runnng pretty nice for a ROI of 23%, life’s good and I finally get my cast dropped off tomorrow (fyi I had a broken foot the last 6 weeks).

Sooo, weee all is fine and I can enjoy the sun again.

Alright, ttyl guys.

SNG Business Plan

Alright, I just watched a video from leggopoker where the producer recommended
approaching my poker game as form of business investment and instead of keeping it all casual more professional so my scores become more transparent to me and my game won’t
suffer emotional swings/tilt that much.

I’m gonna start the grind later on that days but here are the basics of my SNG Business Plan so far:

1. Playin $5 SNGs ONLY

Moving up/BRM

2. Be confident that I beat my current game longterm.
3. Be a decent winner over at least a 1000 games samplesize. (only low stakes)
4. Take a shot/move up when 100BIs for next level.
5. Move down when 150BIs of the level below.

Volume/Workflow

6. Play at least 2x 3h sessions on 6 days a week
7. Take at least 30min each day for HH-review, strategy discussion, reading articles/books, watching learning videos

Alright, that’s it so far.

I don’t know how often I’m gonna report my development yet. We’ll see.

Cheers and gl!

new start

alright, tomorrow I’ll be starting out playing the 5$ non turbo SNGs as part of my rebuilding plan.

I wrote down some sort of a business plan of how i want to approach the games, Bankroll requirements and everything.

This blog is gonna be used for journaling and keeping my goals in focus. I’m gonna post later on about my current plan.

I’m almost fnished reading with SNG Strategy by Moshman and can’t wait to hit up the tables tomorrow.
