Game Selection

Today was my 10 yr anniversary @ my telecom job. Worked my way from ATM Technician @ a small startup to the best manager in the Repair Call Center for a Fortune 500 company. Tripled my salary. I made mistakes, though. The political kind. My bad. Lesson learned. Next time, I'll be my own boss. Long story short, it doesn't matter if you're the best player in the game, when your edge gets too small (like the COO is stealing your outs) you gotta game select. Gotta quit. I put in my notice yesterday and my last day is July 2nd. I don't have anything else lined up, but I'm outstanding at what I do, so while it's seems like I just shipped it - I know I'm much better than a coin flip (although I couldn't run it through Wiz.) 

Anyway, I spent a year studying poker. I'm much better than a very, very large % of players out there, but obviously a LOT to learn (bankroll management??..lol). I'm looking for a way to throw together a business plan to sell my wife on the idea of me playing for a living. I'm going to throw together some numbers...crunch some bills....get some extensions from mortgage companies....cash out the 401k...and see what I can come up with. I read somewhere that Paul Wasicka started his pro career by borrowing $4k from a credit card. Wondering if there is a coach or combination of coaches that could straighten me out..and how much that would cost. Feedback is appreciated. 

The pros here @ DC are exceptionally smart and talented. Crazy respect for these guys. I'm not un-smart...or un-talented :)  I'm looking for a way to be able to give it a shot. How bad can it turn out?
