Hard Day's Grind (for a wuss like me)
Just put in 5k hands of full ring in 6.7 hours. I feel pretty fried, and it was a fairly swingy sesh. I played a mix of 100 and 200nl, and sometimes I think 100nl is more profitable despite being half the stake. I was not involved in a single pot of more than 55 bbs won or lost at 200 today, in 1400 hands. I was table selecting and had fish on my tables at most times. I have been running super cold at 200 lately and it's testing my patience. My PTR for 200fr looks like total crap on FTP and I'm trying to right the ship, but I'm catching few breaks. 100 however has been treating me quite well. Results don't matter much though, the important thing is that I am playing well, possibly the best I've ever played. I've been putting a lot more work into my game over the past few months, I guess I got sick of sucky results and downswings and I really ironed some things out, with the help of friends and videos etc. I am pretty sure I will be crushing 200fr on FTP as soon as I get a stretch of running decently. The games are a lot tougher than 100nl but there are plenty of good tables to be found, both at the rush and regular tables. Anyways I am fried and rambling - time to take a quick shower, eat something, and pass out. I've played every day so far this month at least 2k hands and it feels good.
