Against their hands, I had 24% equity. I think I was in bad shape against their ranges, but tbh I’m really not sure yet. I’m going to have to do a lot of these calculations away from the tables to get the hang of the $25-100PLO games as there’s usually a mix of random 40BB shortstacks who play really really badly and make a mess of preflop scenarios. Going into the hand I knew that there was one player who seemed decent, the guy on my left, so I shoved to attempt to get him to fold some hands that would hurt my equity on a 5-way allin and get it to either 3 or 4-ways with some overlay. Will have to look at this one again later.
