Epic Customer Service Email

I <3 Moosejaw Outdoor Outfitters.

I think it makes perfect sense for Moosejaw to continue to differentiate our brand by offering free support for just about everything to our customers. Whether you’re having trouble with your computer, planning your next party or getting the timer on your toaster to work we’re ready to help.

The difference between our approach and the traditional approach is that everyone else pretends to know what they’re doing and screws everything up. Well at Moosejaw we’ll be the first to admit that we know nothing about anything and the chance we can fix whatever you have broken is about the same or maybe a little less than the normal companies you call upon.

Personally, I’m looking forward to giving advice about European travel mostly because I’ve never been to Europe.

Thomas Friedman said, “I am hoping, though, that many of them have kids, who, when they have a moment to take a break from their iPods, Internet, or Google, will explain to their parents running the country just how the world is being flattened.” I really have no idea what Friedman was trying to say but I feel good about including his quote here.

Here’s a quick sample of a recent exchange…

Laura S.: I’m having trouble backing up a Word file. Can you help?

Moosejaw Tech Support: Laura, Thanks so much for the inquiry. This should be pretty easy.

1. Get to a DOS prompt

2. Type ‘Scolding Hot Water’

3. Nothing will happen then

4. Exit the DOS screen

5. Go To your Control Panel and switch between the Classic View and that other View seventeen times

If that doesn’t work please let me know.
