DJ - the SPR is so gross if the flop checks through and an 8, 9 or T rolls off. Or a heart. And I don't really love a 3 either, people play 67xx hands all the time. So a check-raise is somewhat dangerous.
I might consider betting smaller on the flop, hoping to widen the range of 2nd best hands that will jam or peel the flop by increasing their impression of equity and FE; there are basically no turn cards that we won't be able to open-jam the turn if you bet $600 here and just get flat-called.

I'd imagine with a c/r theres the posiibility to get more money in the pot, thus getting better odds to draw to our flush outs. That's what we are drawing to most of the time on this board.
