Stud Hi making a comeback?
Doubt it, but It’s definitely my game of choice.
Playing the 100/200 stud game on stars the past month or so I can say that there is much to be learned and much to be won. I have been meticulously trying to understand why certain players do certain things which I haven’t been accustomed to quite yet. I can safely say that I now have a much better understanding of what it is certain players have been trying to do and it’s funny because it’s right out of 7CSFA, which is the last place you would think to look when playing these guys (their play looks ridiculous)
Anyway I feel pretty comfortable at the highest stakes pstars has to offer which is something I’m proud of. When I started at .25/.50 I never thought I would be maxing out the stakes. I unfortunately have been stuck for awhile after taking a big downswing at 100 when first jumping into the games playing HU with the most aggressive players on the site. So I’m sure I’ll be at the tables right up until the WSOP (which I’m playing the stud events…holla at me) while finishing school.
8 game has also been very interesting running into a lot of players that are solid at big bet games forces me to become better and better everyday. I feel good in the 40 game on stars, but doubt I will be playing the 100 in the near future as it’s a pretty big game. (25/50 NL) My goals set for the rest of febuary and march is to get back into the black so I can have a nice roll for the Vegas cash games.

Just a quick question for you on stars I often see a few players playing 8 tables of Stud, Stud H/L. Is there some kind of program used to track the dead cards? Pretty hard to memorize dead cards on all these tables.
How many tables do you usually play? I am fairly new to stud games and struggle when I play any more then 2.

Generally I don't play more than 2 or 3. After that it gets very strenuous to play 4+ tables because I don't have any tracker for dead cards or anything. Id recommend 1-2 tables of high stakes stud and 3-4 tables of something you are used to crushing.
