Its been real

Its been real.

Life's been emotionally draining lately. I feel like I'm fighting way too many wars. On one front I go to a job 6 days a week that weighs down my soul. After work I come home and grind/study poker. On the weekends I party and go to shows. At those shows I usually find woman which is another form of poker in itself. I feel like collapsing sometimes and to top it all off I'm still paying off some debts................

I guess the woman is somewhat of a brag. I did take a 3 month break from booze and woman to focus my energy on poker and work. It was a much needed and very refreshing exercise. I advanced my game and picked up a ton of momentum only to have the FBI show up and take a baseball bat to my stomach. I'm still in shock and I don't have that much money online. There is much worse............

But its like, I've put so much time and energy into this wonderful game and now what to do? I will take it as nothing more than a sign that I have to study more.

Depending on how long this takes to clean up, a lot of good things can happen from this:

1. A lot of players will give up. Most of the rec players will move on to other things and the semi serious players who study will look else where. If you're semi serious you probably aren't working that hard. Some of the addicts who are working hard will find something else to get addicted to.

Basically what I'm saying is this is your chance to get ahead of the game. When the game comes back you'll be stronger than ever before. When the players who stopped studying come back and start again you'll be light years ahead of the, especially in PLO.

2. When the websites come back, and they will, they will be heavily regulated. less cheating

3. There will be more fish because of the regulation and safety. It will be easier to deposit money which alone will bring a whole new group of bad players. The drunks will return on Fridays and Saturdays in full force!!

So, what I'm going to do is study my ass off, play a little live until this thing gets cleared up. Remember, as poker players its our job to adjust to a situation especially if its as sub optimal as the one we face now. Whats the worse thing that could happen? You'll get better at poker....uh oh that would suck? I'm sleepy so peace out. My writing has been lacking lately but I will have some epic blog postings for you all soon.

In the mean time check this song out. Bonafidehype is a great site to find great music you don't hear on the radio. I don't listen to the radio but my musical taste is a little different....

And also, check out Quickpro from KasinoKrime (who coaches here). As poker players were all pretty skeptical. Everyone I have asked about before jumping into the program kind of wrote it off as just another training program. They haven't even seen the videos yet.

But everyone who I have talked to who has actually seen the videos are very impressed. Trust me when I say this, out of all the poker videos I have watched across all the training websites this is by far the most organized, clean, and most information crammed into every minute.

How have your actual results been since you went through the plo quickpro program? From your previous blogs it appears you did that months ago. I'd expect you to be killing mid stakes by now if the program was that great. It also seems awful expensive at $999.
