Back To The Trap House

Wow, its been quite an epic week for me.

I've been trying to take a break from the substances and focus on work, poker and myself more but I seem to keep getting sucked back into the scene.

Not that I can really complain. I've been having the most fun year of my life and it just seems like it will continue on through the end of the year. The Wednesday before thanksgiving I ended up going to the Bonobo concert right by my house.

Now, if you haven't listened to Bonobo PLEASE do it now! Its downtempo electronic music with a full band! Its perfect music to relax and sit back and grind to. Its soothing and goes perfectly with a bowl!

Naturally my friends and I raged even though it was downtempo but the show ended early and we still wanted to party so we went this club called the Church where Dash Berlin was playing. The Church was voted the best club in the world back in 2003 and 2004. Funny how quickly things change. I didn't like the crowd it drew whatsoever. There were too many high schoolers running around, too many dudes and a decent amount of tension. It reeked of sleaziness.....

Eitherway we found a nice spot to listen to Dash Berlin and stayed until it ended and went back to my spot. I invited over a few girls and she brought 3 too many guys and we raged until about 8AM. Well, I raged until 8AM everyone else passed out at around 6AM while I sat in the living room singing along to Kid Cudi hahahaahaha

The next day was thanksgiving and at first I was being emo and didn't want to go anywhere (Holidays are tough as they remind me of my mother).

My dad ended up talking me into going to my sisters in-laws house. Her mother in-law is an amazing cook and every Thanksgiving and Xmas she makes an epic dinner! There was also some sadness to this Thanksgiving as they would be losing their dream house (a $2 million project that took years of planning). They're families company had filed for Bankruptcy a few years earlier and all of their funds were frozen. Money was running out fast.....

Well, I had pounded a cocktail at my house (3 parts Vodka 1 part Cranberry Juice) and was feeling quite tipsy when I got there. I immediately went for the wine.....

We sat around and ate Thanksgiving lunch when suddenly Mary( Mother in-law) pointed out how tired I looked. I found a nice cozy spot on the couch and passed out for a good 4-5 hours. I was a little red in the face when I woke up and everyone was getting ready to go....

That Following Friday I was to watch my nephews, a great excuse for not going out that night! They actually outlasted me as I was out by about 11:30PM.

The following morning my pops (who I work with) suggested I take the day off for the holidays. I happily obliged and found my way to the nearest gym to get some endorphins flowing. I went home trying to decide if I should start raging ( it was around 11AM still) but just couldn't get myself into the mood for some strange reason.

This is getting boring. Lets jump to the good stuff.......

So I bought a 30 Pack of Hipster juice (PBR) and some M ( I'll refer to the substances as letters) and went to my friends house for a nice chicken and brown rice dinner before heading out. We started playing this game called Zones where you get drunk real fast. All of us settled on Beauty Bar, a place where you can get your hair and nails done while drinking. None of us would take advantage of that opportunity seeing as we aren't gay or woman. Yes, I have gotten my nails done before but not regularly.......

Beauty bar has an interesting crowd. On any given night you'll run into punk rockers, trannys, gays, lesbians, hipsters, indie rockers, goths or DJ's and thats just how I like it! Makes for a much more fun and laid back compared to the meat head bars most people go to instead.

The moment I walked in I ran into this gorgeous girl I have been trying to get at for the last half year or so. I can't begin to describe how amazing she looks, mos def an 11 on a 10 point scale. She goes to a lot of shows like me and also enjoys raging! Anyways I got to dancing around like a fool like I usually do which contrary to popular belief gets the most woman (You should try it, get loose!!!)

The hours skipped forward as they normally do on M. Kind of like time traveling if you ask me and we rounded up the 11 ( I don't think its right to use er name or anyone elses but WOW shes amazing!) and went back to my friends apartment. We started blasting music and the 11, her gay friend and I decided to go back to her place instead. Cannot even describe how stunning she is......

Anyways, the third wheel went home and I have a new policy. Don't kiss and tell so lets skip this part and move on......

So as I was at the bar one of the guys promoting the show tried to give me a hat but my head was too big for it. He told me to call him and I did the following Monday. He asked if I was interested in doing promotions and I said absolutely! I go to a ton of shows as it is and he offered to give me free tickets! Who knows maybe it good turn into a nice side income or cover my costs for partying!

AND finally the big news for the DC community and those lucky few following my blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to be featured in an episode of a DC video series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which one? That I will not reveal yet until it is finished and ready to be put up!

But WOW I am really excited for this opportunity and can't wait to start working on it. I'd like to keep the details in the dark at the moment but once its done I will tell you how this came about and what the subject will be!
