You said you would maybe discuss the huhu problem on stars for stakes higher than 10/20.

How has it gone for you trying to play huhu on the FR tables? Is it worth the effort and trouble of continuously having to plead with people to leave the table when they sit?

TBH I've been ok getting action HUHU @ the FR tables. I've honored the "HU Please" requests for a while and people have done the same for me.

That being said I've honored the requests of a few people and they haven't done the same for me. Or they have played then hit and ran me when it came to playing me. I don't know if I'm going to just stick with it always or start making a note or what.

Curious as to what you guys think.

I have an idea for a lhe series for next season.

DC stakes me to play some big-name TV pro huhu at 500/1k+. Preferably Hellmuth.

Do you think it would be prudent to start tightening up with hands like KTo from the HJ with a very loose player to you left?

If the player on your left is just passive and calling a lot does this change your choice of hands to play compared to a player on your left who is loose and very aggressive?

I have trouble understanding when it is correct to peel in big pots. What is your though process here?

Do you compare the pot size with what you think your equity is?
How many outs do you give yourself?

Thanks.

Here's my thought process: "Damn that pot is big... and it's only 1 small bet to see another card... sweet! call!"

All joking aside, it's usually pretty wrong to be folding the flop for 1 bet in a reasonably big pot (6 sb+) if you have an outside chance of winning the pot.

I would give myself about 2 outs between the two draws. Say 1.5 for the flush and .5 for straight.

I suppose I could give one out each to the Q and J.

Based on this and the pot odds and being last act one would assume this is a call. I also realize that there are some very bad players involved in this hand.

My concern in this particular hand is that the SB decided to donk out in a huge pot and into 3 other players. But then again he is a big fish.

I am also noticing a trend at the 3/6 and 5/10 games that I play for people to be donking out with top pair more. I am curiuos if you have noticed this in your games.

I am just curious how close this decision to peel is and what your thought process is.
