great vid. 5*
NoahSD never forgets to rewind before he returns the video. This video is a hand breakdown of those hands that were pretty straight foreword, least compared to previous episodes.
New to the DC team, NoahSD, leads us through his 6max world. He analyzes his play from 6-tabling sessions but with focuses on select hands.

great vid. 5*
Nice Video.
In the equity calculation at the end of the video I think it has to be divided by 78 not by 86. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So your call is even more profitable ;-)
nice vid noah. A couple comments on the last hand.
In the combos of hands that beat us, don't you think Back door heart draws and A5 should be in there (since he actually did show up with A5)? Hands like 46hh/45hh/A5hh etc.
Will def. watch the next one. gj
Great video, but given your target audience (decent msnl players) I feel like the first hand was kind of a waste of time. It's good to mix it up with new ideas though.
Your analysis of the 2nd hand is an insta-5star. More NoahSD Sundays plz DC!
Also, what do you think of the BBs play in the TJdd hand when he minraises the flop with trip and gets it in?
lol at the result of the last hand ![]()
biz,
Cool.. glad you liked it.
Basti,
Jeez. I swear I checked that like 50 times. Oh well.. ship the equity!
Speed,
Yep. That's part of the reason why I err on the side of caution.. because there's always the chance that I forget about some hands that beat me. So, yeah, I'm an idiot and forgot those hands, but it's still a +EV call.
Baz,
Yeah.. I wasn't sure how the first hand would go over. I think it's a spot that's obviously correct and not incredibly interesting once you know that, but I also think a lot of my viewers just miss a spot like that. I think ideally when I wanna put a spot like that in a vid, I should try and make it part of a hand where something interesting happens a later street. But, I figured I'd put this one in because it's pretty rare that something interesting happens later in the hand in a spot like that. I'll keep in mind that you didn't like it.
Glad you liked the second hand and the last one. I liked putting them both in the same vid.
BB's minraise with 9T on the TT6 board is pretty bad. No matter what he does he looks strong as hell, but by minraising he just donates more money when he's behind, pretty much completely eliminates the chance that anyone does anything stupid, and reopens the betting for CO, who's obv just gonna get it in with all the hands that beat him and the one combo of T8s.
I think he probably just minraised because he didn't wanna have to play the hand on later streets, but it's obviously better to just call than to minraise no matter how CO and I play on later streets.
This whole series is superb Noah, very much enjoying.
Also including hands like the first one is fine. It's good to have a balance between complex and difficult hands as well as more straightforward / common situations that people might overlook like you said.
Could you expand more on the c-bet with KQo on AKQr (around 24 minutes in)? His checking does seem a bit strange, but that flop nails a nit's UTG raise pretty hard, doesn't it? Aren't we fairly likely to be check/raised when we bet after he checks this flop? Also, could you explain why you think that it is unlikely that he would bluff with air if we check behind?
Another excellent video though!
chop,
Glad you enjoy it, and thanks for your input.
Negley,
I hate to just say "because that's the way it is", but that is just the way it is. It's very rare for a reg in the games that I play in to c/r anything in this spot. It's also fairly rare for a nitty reg to bet the turn after checking this flop with air. It def happens, but I don't think that's enough to make up for missing value vs. all his marginal hands here.
