14min in board: JA97. Hero has 56.

I don't see what hands we would be targeting if we bet the turn here. QT flopped a double gutter, KT turned a double gutter and other hands he may have called with may also have picked up more outs on the turn. Made hands aren't folding.

Betting this turn is probably a two bet decision that I don't think is worth it. You also have possible RIO if the 8 hits on the river.

Good work guys. If raise_all-in just spent one SB on any poker book (even the crappy ones) and stopped limping the BTN he could probably save a few thousands/year.

Anyway, Im really interested in the SB/BB dynamic u touched on. I have noted quiet a few regs that play like DD suggests, making their first aggro move on the turn. So hopefully there will be some interesting spots where we are in the SB and need to decide between XF, XC, XR, BF and BC.

Heh, I'm reproducing it in mono right now, one of the byproducts of recording conversations in Skype. Smile

Good video. On the button, three handed, I think I just check back with 65 on the J97 flop, especially since raze is loose enough to peel that flop with hands like 22, A5, K6. Too expensive to try to win the pot unimproved and we have very little equity. I actually check back a lot of weak hands on this particular board texture against these opponents.

For the J2 vs AT hand at the end where ballzdeep lost his mind, I think it's really important to notice raze's line. He c/r'ed and called a 3bet, which should indicate that ballz has a hand he really likes (A8+ or so). So the "standard" line is to c/r/call when he makes the disguised jacks up on the river. Instead, he bet out and I'm almost positive he's bet/3betting there. I know I've raise/called hands like AA here in the past until I realized that this is how this player type plays. So once you adjust, you really own him, because you basically put him on jacks up (with the rare JJ or strangely played straight perhaps), so you cry call with your one pair hands hoping he's spazzing out and you raise/cap with your sets and straights.

QT on 438;8;A villain donks. This is a call for me and really interesting 2/3 likes a fold. 76, 57, 65 all makes a lot of sense. Villain CC pf rather than 3-bet which should make us disount some Ax. Ok he seems passive, but in my experience this is the type of bluff passive guys likes. Just donking out a scare card. Sure he most likely has an A, but 6:1 is too tempting for me.

Ok, I have to say this:

Just started watching this video, and, as I am always amused by the sheep-kicking trap door part ( I know, it is a sad life that I lead, at times! ), I kinda wondered hopefully if something different would occur for Season 2. You guys did not disappoint! Smile It's these little things that make DeucesCracked so awesome! Smile

So, I just wanted whoever it is at Deuces, that puts the extra effort into creating this stuff, to know... I LOLL'd!!

OK, now I can watch the video.

+1 for wondering where the trap door was and then being like ZOMG when [SPOILER] occurred instead

40min 469KQ you talk about how The CR from A7o is either from an bad player or a genious. Since you guys fall in the genious 10%, how often would you attempt a bluff like this? I have done it but more in a tilty way than a sophisticated thinking way.

Problem is you really really have to know your villain. I mean the number one mistake most players make online is they don't fold enough, so its pretty hard to think that we should frequently make a big play designed to get them to fold Smile

They also HATE betting and folding in the same street so that makes it even tougher. That said it can obviously be great to turn your made hand into a bluff in just the right spot. There was a hand from the season finale of Thug Life where I made a similar play on Hypnotic that they discussed for awhile.

I think he plays very well in general and played okay here (admittedly not great) except for the one wtf play at the end there.

I know I don't always play great, or close to it, either though Smile

Hopefully we weren't too mean with the analysis, as its easy to find a few things here or there in anyone's session when its studied this in-depth. I know I hated some of my plays from season 1.

yeah, pretty funny you guys didnt recognize ballz. fwiw i wasn't too impressed with his play here either, but he's certainly very good (although i think he feels more at home at a full table). everyone can come off looking a bit stupid in such a small sample (i certainly do Smile ), and it's not like he was playing terrible anyway.
