Unfortunate that the audio in some part was a bit choppy and I guess there was a bit of lag since you both talked at the same time more than once. However as long as the discussion is at this level this is surely not a problem. Love the hand history format.

Grin good to know

Haha yeah I used to be massively spewy and have huge swings
Im still massively profitable but that just shows how weak the 100NL games are.

Acting like a maniac/making unorthodox plays works to my advantage in the long term as it creates to give a bad image for myself so that I can exploit a lot of the regs at my level/give them the wrong perspective.

With KK on J97ss flop, instead we bet the flop and the same fishy player makes a small raise instead. Is it too early to just fold or is it best to call and hope for a safe turn card?

If we do call and the turn a is brick, is leading ok or do you like checking once again and deciding on the best action based on what he does and bet size?

I think I would generally just bet/fold to a super-passive player or nit, but against someone that is mostly unknown (I only know he's bad and leaning towards passive), I'll call and either lead a blank or check/fold to a big bet or check/call a small one. I'm not sure if this is a leak that I need to fix. Is a call on the flop generally going to be profitable at all OOP against an unknown fish?

I play $25NL full ring, so maybe the differences between the stakes and 6max are more prominent, but this seems like a dangerous move to me. We've put villain on PP's or air, but the board is so dry where even air could have hit him a lot at this point. He's also put a lot of money in with not a ton left behind and we just have ace high.

I hope this doesn't sound elitist but anything below NL50 is a weird zone> I have a tougher time at NL50 than i do NL100+. It's like this twilight zone of poker where the rake consumes you more than other players.

Vanessa analyzes hands so well, if only I could afford an instructor like that! Vanessa and Hielko are my favourite thus far.
Also the emphasis on how the river play is very important for extracting as much value as we can is a very crucial point I think. I think this may be a leak for me. Recently I've done a lot of shoving on the river with the nuts, hoping to get a call from a good hand, but it hasn't been going that well. I wonder if it's a profitable move to shove the river (your hole stack practically) when the opponent obviously has trips (of aces for example) and you have a boat. Or you have the nut straight and you think he will only call you with a straight and fold everything else. For ex. on board 574 6 2 and you have 89 and you hope he has an 8 (no flush possible obv). Do you think he will ever call with two pair or a set? Is it better to shove or go for near a pot size value bet? The action to the river was you betting 2 streets about 3/4 of the pot and shoving the river. Does it feel like the nuts to others when you shove like that?
Great episode, thanks!
