The word is 'tangent'. It means the speaker intends to temporarily divert from the main topic to discuss another topic (in this case NLH).

How many of these PLO episodes are there likely to be? I was strongly considering signing up on bluefirepoker.com as well as here. I am a member here already but, well what I am trying to say is please merge and get all of Phil's stuff for us. We'd all appreciate it lol.

I would serioussly like to know if this is gonna be 8 episodes and if there could potentially be a long relationship btw the 2 sites. Thoughts pls.

There will be 8 episodes of PLO, but I'd definitely recommend signing up for BlueFire -- while they're a new site, their library is growing quickly and their focus on quality materials definitely shines through. For HUPLO-specific materials you can also check out Phil's match HU vs Peter Jepsen, which had some sick analysis on HUPLO and Phil's theory behind keeping variance minimized in tournament situations.
