Nice ep again, thanks alot for the series. The flop donking tip from one of the early eps alone has already paid for the DC subscription a couple times over. Have a good one.

The JKs hand at 42:30 or so, I agree with Jordan's turn 3bet - chris (dd) had been doing a lot of freeshowdown raises and it was a good opportunity to blow him off something. and TONS of equity.

My only question is whether when we are capped on the turn if we will pay off a J or a K on the river.

Yeah at that point I was tired of getting kicked in the teeth on every turn and it seemed like a good place to play back. I think I would have to pay off on the river since the pot would be so huge, although I am a little unsure of how often I would be good. (although it would not have to be that much to be a break even call).

Cool finally got to watch this and see the other side. Couple things while I'm thinking of them:

57ss hand was a semibluff, I gave up on river, figured small chance I have best hand. I guess it was close to a FSDR but I thought of it as a semibluff at the time. I would have barreled a lot of rivers but that one was pretty awful for me to get better hands to fold.

I think a couple of your preflop calls from bb are really bad, like 92o and 52o in particular I remember.

The KJdd hand where you 3 bet turn, I think its a little worse than you guys said simply because I wasn't raise/folding better on the turn. People tend to adjust to the frequent turn raises by 3 betting more, which imo is exactly the wrong thing to do, and you should just bet/call check/call a lot. It's definitely debateable though.

The hand where you slowplay J5 and the board is JT5QA I was tanking on folding the A9 not raising. I really regretted not folding both this one and the KJ hand early where I rivered a king and got 3 bet on the river.

I need to amend my "running bad" whining as obviously I had my share of lucky cards. That said I think during the match it seemed like I made some second best hands that were "too strong to fold" and his were sort of easier to get away from, so that's a subtle version of running bad that happens all the time. Also he defended 92o preflop but folded something when I had KK one time!! Smile

Good job with the poo-throwing coaching Chuck, he throws well and catches better! Wink
