I only have one trivial question, or atleast it might seem trivial. You always harp and kind of look down on the regs that play in your mind way too many tables, whats your idea of an ideal amount of tables? Coming from a limit holdem background i can easily play 6-8 tables without too much problems, because well every decision in LHE is a fair bit easier than in big bet games. Playing PLO i cant really hang on to more than 4 with my kind of active style. So i guess i kind of answered my own question, but id still like to hear your thoughts on it. Exellent vid as usual btw.

i like to play 4 tables when i'm playing my normal stakes. if i'm playing mid high i play 8-12. i think playing over 4 is really a bad move in general though.

i don't look down on regs who play a lot of tables by the way, i'm just always trying to stress that these aren't necessarily hard to beat players. someone playing 12 tables is going to play blinds very very poorly, nevermind post flop situations. i am really just trying to show how to beat each type of player in my series; active/passive; crazy lag; 12 tabling nit; etc!

Yeah that last bit ive gathered from your series as well. I just feel like you say that you sacrifice too much just to be able to log an extra amount of hands in terms of winrate and especially understanding game flow, which you really cant follow at all when u 8-12 table PLO, atleast i cant. When i play 8 tables i can barely take notes and not time out, but when i play 4 i can play better, follow gf, take comprehensive notes, and think about the game better and that way learn more as i play. And i think in this game its super important to always keep your mind flowing and think about just the game in general. Might be rambling but you should know of what i speakSmile

You mention "haha magicninja uses colour coding"
I dont think anyone should laugh at it - I think having visual prompts are very good for your memory and creating a hierachy within your actions.
Particularly even when you are only playing a small amount of tables - any reasonable shortcuts for your memory will provide more attention and computational power/time to the complex guessestimates that are needed for good decision-making.

Its not as if you have 5 minutes to make a decision - which in any other walk of life is considered to be a short period.

Anyway thanks for your vids.
Good Luck in the New year.

I never really got into the Pregaming series, but I think I am going back to see it now. Crossfire is one of the best series I have seen on DC. I hope Magic Ninja comes out with a PLO HU series.
