I think I like a bet on the turn here.. I have seen this spot so many times, and if you bet a little over half pot, you get value and you often prevent villian from shoving, since he gets decent odds to just call..

i noticed you scale down your opens in lp w shorties behind which is a given adjustment obviously but notice you still 3x like when folded to on button like with good regs in blinds. I've kind of changed to making it min to 2.5x on button last 6 months or so, i know a lot of good regs min on button still as well, was curious on your thoughts on that, do u think making it 3x prevents the regs from 3b as often bc they will have to put in more money vs you OOP? Do you feel that raise size really affects regs 3b freq that much? does it yours?

Tiltbuster, its around $33 from memory.

Incorrect, these videos are 100% live and I am commentating over myself playing in real time.

I agree and disagree, I certainly have no issue against betting the turn here but I think his range doesnt have much pure air and is mainly big draws or big made hands when he takes this line.

I really like everything about how you played that hand.. Very thorough explanations too!

Thank you.

Try and structure your question better for me next time Smile

I think making it 3x prevents regs from 3betting more often, yes.

Some regs just dislike playing pots OOP and will 3b you even more if you start to 2x, some will continue to flat wider. I think raise size definitely effects 3betting frequencies of some regs, but not all. As with all things poker - "It depends".

why not make a smaller check raise here, or even c/c? it seems you're forcing him to commit a lot of BBs and thus narrowing his range quite a bit where he could otherwise continue with a few more combos

Villain donks into 993 board, and you reraise with the 77. Villain folds.

What do you do when Villain calls or reraises?
