Can't be that bad with a 19BB stack in the BB and a tricky/tough player in the SB.

Good video I thought, Greg. You play tighter than me so it's nice to see a perspective of someone who plays tighter but does a great job of explaining the thought processes of other players at the table and what to think about while you're at the table.

why does it matter if there's a shortstack in the blinds? Obviously we are comfortable getting all in preflop with this hand, no? JJ seems like a "value hand" and not an implied odds hand like T987 doublesuited. Im kind of just speculating, I don't play a lot of omaha. But any JJT seems kinda strong

Thanks, Greg, for the series. It could not have come at a better time for me. Viewing both episodes made me realize--like a hammer to the face--that I am not paying enough attention to my opponents. I'm playing too many tables and not playing the players as well as I should be.

You mentioned that when opponents open-limp in the small blind, we should be raising with a pretty wide range. Would you mind elaborating on this point? How wide are we talking about here? What are some of the variables you consider? I play lower stakes than $1 - $2, and the situation comes up a lot.

Great series, made me cut down the number of tables from 8 to 4 my last session and try to pay more attention and take more notes. 4 tables turned out too be far too slow though so I settled on 6 which still gives me more than enough time to observe hands I'm not involved in and make notes, especially about the regs, which helped me out in quite a few spots later on.

T987 doing a million times better vs the range that the SS is likely to be shoving.

Thanks Rob, I appreciate the feedback.

If i remember right, that hand had a loose-tricky player in the SB who I felt would call alot, and a BB who would 3bet a bunch. i may have felt he was getting ready to repop or my table image wasn't right. anyway, i don't think you give up much EV either way.

If someone will open-limp in the small blind, i'll raise a wide range in the big blind because i want to play raised pots in position vs loose players. so i can build a pot if i hit, or steal if i miss, and generally just put pressure on them. At a guess, i'd say 65+% of my hands -- similar to having the button in a HU match

Thanks for the feedback.

hi
is this a 2-part series?

Yes, this was just a 2-part mini-series. If you guys would add what you liked from this, we would expand on it, but the feed back was mixed so we'll leave it here. Greg has some more videos coming of normal PLO play.
