excellent vid as always!

AT hand at end of vid.......you open sb/bb and bet/3bet/5bet all in on A85r with 200bb vs a tag iirc

barring some super sick insane leveling which would allow him to somehow call it off with worse to your 5bet shove, there is no way shoving is +ev. I appreciate the idea that calling tells him you have a hand, but all that really means is that you can c/f after you call the 4bet and expect to check it down/win a ton. While an ev calc certainly involves you winning the large pot alot with the FE, you still will get in the 674 you have behind with prolly about 10-15% avg equity. His 4bet bluffing % needs to be near 50% just for you to breakeven on a shove.

I don't think that U chose the spots really well. This min 4bet on 77K and shoving with AT on A85r... and than trying to find a reason for it, why it is a good play.... . It would be nice if U would find more clear spots, that are not so spewy.
I mean what is our min min min 4 betting range on K77s board and what are we representing here, a full house or a min min min 4 4 4 4 4 bet I am not sure sure sure if my hand is good good good bluff? LOL
The AT hand, are we bluffing here or shoving for value?
Thank U for your efforts, but for learning players and weak players like me, I think some examples through all the series are not chosen very well. I mean good players may use them well, and U may have chosen the right spots to play them at the table, but for players like me, they may lead to make me some spewy moves.
To say it more clear: We should think about who are we teaching and if the examples are not sometimes more irritating than clearing.

If you don't want to call with the AT hand min 5 betting or something is better than shoving imo, altough i don't really expect a 6 bet bluff Poke Tongue

Normally I would come up with some witty mocking response to your rather offensive post (and it would be hella funny obv), but as a representative of the site, I'm sure it's better that I don't.

What I will say is that we don't show you the hands so you can go find an analogous spot and copy them, we show them to you so you can see how we're thinking about dissecting hands and apply that logic in the future. If you feel like you're not getting that much out of our discussion, feel free to watch some other videos. But don't expect to watch a video that will have situations that you understand perfectly well. Because if you do, then you're at the upper bound of your learning, and you're not really pushing yourself to think beyond and outside of the box.

There are plenty of small and micro stakes videos on this site you just want to see standard spots.

Hey, we are cool, and I hope we understand some humor. And I think there should be always some space for critics. I mean, If I don't like some spots,It doesn't mean that I don't like the series at all and it doesn't mean that I don't get anything from the series. But next time, when I critic someones Vid, I will draw some flowers around it (LOL).

This is easily one of the best series' out there. You guys are approaching it the wrong way entirely. You don't want to just do what they did, you want to listen to the thought process involved. They really do a great job of communicating their thought processes. That said, if you are a moron who can't do anything but copy what he's seen, then yes, you are probably doing yourself a disservice by watching this series.

Loved it!

I am not one to pull these moves at the stakes I'm playing - NL50. But I do take notes down and there is a lot to learn from this. The J3s limped hand I found brilliant.

Do you guys have a certain prejudice against playing hands NOT from the blinds?

Poke Tongue Maybe its just that the most interesting ones come from there? We certainly aren't looser in the blinds or anything crazy like that.

I am not super use to play being deep stacked so this may be off base, but wouldnt villain sometimes raise this flop, knowing that the only way to play a big pot with a big hand is to raise the flop regardless of how dry it is?

I do think though villain's range is super polarised and doesnt include draws or AK type hands since his 4bet is just inviting disaster.

Aso, as villain is floating much better line on whole? it definitely would seem more balanced and consistent.

Sure he could totally raise this flop with a big hand, but I think theres just a whole lot more air in his range and that given the history we had theres a good chance I can induce some big bluffing.

I don't really know if I can say that floating is better on the whole. I like floating better with some hands and raising better with others, and those ranges change significantly depending on who's in my shoes.
