Pretty sick video.
Michaelsc wraps up his mini series with this week's episode of 2-tabling $3/6 PLO. His topics include personal image, betting spots, and player's aggression.
Michaelsc takes us through the midstake levels of PLO and teaches us how to adjust to each on our way up up up . . .

Pretty sick video.
Sick video indeed. This style is way more interesting than the one found in the 2/4 cap game last week imo. Picked up a lot from this one. Looking forward to future video series!
Yeah, my vote's on 4-tables for future videos, by the way.
good vid so far,
is it just me or is the resolution look really grainy?

Looks perfect to me, it's a 2-tabling vid, are you trying to make it stretch to full screen on your 30" monitor or something?
Rob
yeah probably.
mike, 4 tabling vids would be very welcome in this corner.
i don't really care to comment a lot, but I've been watching a lot of PLO across different training sites; and this is by far the best series out there by a longshot. Great work
would much prefer 4 tables.
You keep saying "check/call" when opponents are just "calling" or will say
check/raise" when they raise in position, and similar. I've noticed this throughout the series. You're explaining your thought process with a line, but it doesn't follow the action at the table so it can get confusing.
For example, around 19:00 on the left table, you barrel twice with AJ62 and get your opponent to fold. You discuss your opponents c/c'ing their medium strength hands, but in this hand your opponent is just calling (floating) your flop cbet. You then mention how 2-barreling gets your opponents to fold these marginal made hands. So are you more willing to do this in position, or OOP?

Sorry I might have mispoke at some point of the video.
I don't think it matters too much whether you are in position or not, but the players, the stack sizes and pot size. You might not do it when the player can pot control a small pot and call down, but if you can apply enough pressure then you should be fine doing it in many spots in and out of position.

I agree, has turned around my play by covering many leaks regarding both pre flop and post flop. Make more videos pleeeease!

Just started watching some PLO videos since I'm pretty new to this game so I have a question regarding your c/r in this hand.
I'm not familiar with these stakes but villain seems to be a bad player and until proven otherwise I'm always assuming they're on the loose passive side (his openlimp is an indication for that)
Given that, I don't really expect him to bet hands like 98 or AJ that often after you check to him so could you elaborate a bit more on why checkraising is good and maybe even better than betting to get him off some better draws and Jx?
