Perfect video thank's !
Threads13 begins to talk about the learning process, self-evaluation, and how to best learn from your game play.
Variance is huge in poker and it can drastically slow down the learning process. This series is split into two parts: 1) Identify variance and explaining the fundamental mathematics of variance. 2) Shifting the focus to learning (instead of results) and maximizing our learning.

Amazing series, I can't wait to watch episode three!
love this series ![]()
again great episode!
maybe O/T...just listening to an audio book called "The drunkards walk" about randomness in everyday life - variance if you prefer. Might be interesting reading.

This video description looks like something I'd want to see. I'm curious why is it tagged NLHE instead of Misc./Other?? Does author play or mention only NL examples or what?

In this video I don't believe I use a specific poker example. This series very easily could be tagged as "other" but the examples I do use are specific to NLHE.
very nice
"most of us are humans" that made me lol

Question - As I'm playing this series in Safari, the audio somehow gets about fifteen seconds ahead of the video. It seems to happen when I click full screen or skip around to different parts of the vid, and continues until the video ends. Not sure if this will happen to me for other videos... just noticed it for eps 2 and 3.
Anyone else having this problem?
I found this video to be especially brilliant.
Improving one thing at a time during study time and then specifically focusing on that thing for the next few sessions.... that's been like an "ah hah" for me as far as applying studied concepts.
nh
Nice video. I'm definitely going to try to apply this routine to my sessions.

I like the series overall, but you really shouldn't say that you have "NO short term control" over your financial game.
