It doesn't end up being that great a session but, as always, the discussion is where the value in the video lies.

I only played the demo and didn't think much of it.

I like the fact it isn't a great ($$'s won) session. Great discussion about the hands played and due to its 1 or 2 spewy moments makes it seem like a typical session we all have - much easier to relate to Smile

Good stuff

"Once we bet the turn and he calls we know he never has a straight ..." (right hand table, 34Q6 board)
So does that mean if I were the BTN and wanted to turn my hand into a bluff, I could raise there and expect to fold out anything worse than top two-pair? I had never thought about raising sequential boards on the turn IP as a bluff, but it makes sense. Presumably would also make a believable float if Hero checks the turn?

My range there is mostly bet/folding or bet/getting it in. Against weaker players I am very skewed towards a bet/fold range. If it were a tough player I would check back the turn and call river if I make two pair since, as discussed, there aren't that many draws I really put in his range that the card connects with. A tougher player who has a wrap there probably raises the flop. It isn't a bad spot to bluff, but if the other player barrels off because he has a FD he will often call the jam because he has enough equity if you he thinks you can be bluffing there.

So yeah, its a good spot to try to move someone off of two pair, but I think that you really need to be prepared to fire again on the river.
