Yeah, you're right... I normally nit it up during the big bet rounds because I don't hardly ever play NL and PLO outside the 8 game, and I remember thinking I probably should not get involved with that hand. But maybe I got bored, too, because I played like one and a half hands in the first 12 minutes of the recording.

I would open this from the button for sure, but opening in MP and then drawing 3 felt too loose to me even in this game.

This bet wasn't indeed so much because I hit the pair but to build up fold equity on later streets in case they brick and we catch good because the seven should have hit a very decent part of our range.

Not a good idea, it seems from Joe's reaction and explanation :-)

Thanks, guys! I definitely have picked up some stuff from your comments and will try to work on these areas.

Now I'll be off to google "GPA" (I'm from Germany and have no clue what it could be) and after that I'll work on my Poker :-)

GPA = grade point average. Generally, a 4.0 is top-notch.

How's the rake at micro/small stakes mix games? Is it similar to micro plo/Hold'em?

Are there any programs that have the ability to track any (or all) of the games?

No idea. Anyone have a good guess/some experience?

No, nothing that will track all of the games. HEM will cover 4 of them if you have both the holdem and omaha versions, and PT Stud covers the 3 studly ones. As for tripledraw, we're all still waiting for a good tracker, but there probably isn't enough market interest to get one on the level of HEM/PT.

Funniest moment (and also a pretty insightful comment) in the series so far AINEC!

Shadowchips should be check-raising the flop and throwing money at the computer screen so fast that it actually breaks both the screen and the chips simultaneously!

Loving the series so far!

I've played 4600ish hands of .5/1$ limit games in the last 4 weeks (but most of these, 3000ish, were 27TD: Yes, I'm working on my grade D game the most :-)). fpdb tells me I paid about 150$ in rake for these hands...

Do you jam 4th street here for equity since you have an open ender and a low draw? I would've but I'm not sure if that's right. It seems like he has a pair of aces here most of the time and not some better low draw.

Looks like we're flipping-ish against either a pair of aces or a seminaked low draw. But we'll probably have position on later streets. So I don't see a problem with raising, especially if we can benefit from some initiative. We don't exactly have a bluff-catcher, so we shouldn't benefit much from keeping his range wider and aggression up.
