At about 15 minutes in you 3-bet Phil's button open with 9's. Just out of curiosity, where is your cutoff, is it 99, or are you doing this with 66-88? How are you reacting to a 4-bet?

Lastly, does your play vary w/99 when say a 36/8 or a 17/14 opens from the button? If so, how?

At 21:30 into the vid you open 64s in the CO and check behind on a KT5dd flop and then fire the 8s turn. Could you explain your thought process a little more in regards to why you checked back on the flop? Did you think that your opponent was very likely to play his hand face up on the turn? Thanks for this series, I'm really enjoying it.

At 9:13 you folded thinking that whoisthisguy had limped reraised you on the right hand table. But he was actually the BB. Is there merit to 4betting there as it is fairly obvious you are trying to make a steal and he is going to be 3betting you there with a wide range. But seeing as how stack are deep was wondering how the dynamics vary from 100bbs to 200bbs.

I think I'd probably flat 99 vs a 17/14 because he'll just fold a lot of hands I would get value from against looser players. Same goes for a 36/8 because his opening range is really tight. I'd rather reraise both players with speculative hands like 45s.

The opponent was pretty loose so I don't think a c-bet on that flop is profitable but once he doesn't fire the turn I can represent a lot of different hands and pick up the pot.

I can't really 4-bet fold because of the size of the raise so I'd have to just jam it all-in. Also even though it looks like I'm trying to pick up the money in the pot with a steal, most people interpret a raise from the blinds as a lot of strength so I don't think he's reraising me that light.

whitelime,

at about 44 minutes into the video, you mention that it might be helpful to note where an unknown player is from, as that may give you insights into how they may play the game and certain situations. can you give some examples on certain trends you have noticed as to how location affects playing strategies?

very good video. for the hands 99 which you hit full house on flop vs. AA of opponent. would mini raise on flop be better? which might induce 3bet from opponent and built the pot size at the same time? The reason I say that is because a scary card at turn (e.g. flush formed) might kill the action a little bit. If he had big pocket pair, I expect him to push. if he had only two over cards, he would stop bluffing anyway if he were good.

Thanks,
