I really liked the range analysis using PokerStove, and definitely would like to see more of these using the tools and math.

DC shorts are short content bursts brought to you by DC Labs. Roughly 1/4 the length of standard videos, these shorts are designed to review single hands, concepts or ideas. You'll receive the most up to date content available and stay in touch with the latest and greatest here at DC and the poker community at large.  The more you post in the forums the more likely it is your post will be the inspiration for a future DC short!

Hero is giving the villain to many flush draws for this play to be good.
Can you make up with a range when is shove is a break even play? ty
Nice vid but I'm still in shock he shoved the turn!
It was nice to hear you clarify this problem. I suffer dramatically from this leak as well.
I had a spot like this yesterday with 1010 haha was happy to see a video about it. Thankfully I didn't ship the turn but I can sympathize with that feeling of invincibility and just shoving cuz its an overpair. This video will definitely help, especially the first half where Threads discusses the villains raising range, and actually thinking critically about what he would be doing this with. Great stuff, I love the DC Shorts!
Really nice vid; nice to see the ranges in stove - I certainly over estimate bluff frequency and this was a great focused look at how bad this can be when you aren't realistic - ever hopeful lol
Awesome vid..i wish more vids were like this ..the live sweat sessions suck as you can stop the play and go over the hand. I like the breakdown of thought process.
How unlikely do we think it is that villain has A9-89 in his range and is raising for value on flop? (Ignoring information of his bet on the turn)

Fairly unlikely. TAGs are typically flatting there as a default.
