T9dd makes a straight.
Hhe would check all his straights/ 2 pairs on the river too right? So you consider there aren't much 2 pairs in his range?

Yes, I lost the hand. I don't think it's necessarily true he will always check a straight and if he has two-pair, he would've had to river it. Either way, it's a clear value bet based on the dynamic.
