Might be the minor problem with the converter - you got it showing that you drawed 1 on the second, when you stood pat (in the second hand)

Moar 2-7 please, i love these videos.

On a video note, if we are oop and snow and get frozen, isnt it a good idea to be check/folding more often as we probably wont get that many folds? And by check/folding some, we can potentially check/raise more with the stronger part of our range?

I think you must be misreading it / I am confused. On the turn both players draw 1, then hero bets and stands pat on 3rd draw in position.

was does it mean "to get frozen?"

Does anyone have like a hand example of this they could show and maybe explain typical situations when/why this is done? I definitely don't understand this very well.

No example hands, sorry. It's mentioned in Triple the Gold ep 3 or 4, I think.

The idea is that villain is OOP and his bet suggests he'll be patting the third draw. If we raise,
he has the option of drawing to beat us, whereas if we're ahead and both pat, he has zero equity.
Since he's out of position, it's likely that he has a smooth draw fairly frequently.

Obviously works best v a villain capable of patting 9s and Ts.

That makes a lot more sense, thanks Slowjoe. I'm still in the middle of episode 2 of Triple the Gold so I haven't gotten to that stuff yet.

Common example: on the second draw you both take one, villain bets and you call. On the last draw he stands pat and you stand pat behind him, you have frozen him.

Cheers DD.

While you are here, are there any flags that make a freeze better or worse (in the same way that a fit-or-fold villain makes a cbet a good idea)?

People that break all their 9's vs a raise are good to freeze vs. people that are likely to b/c pat a T are bad to freeze vs because you miss value.

Good examples HJD, another one I see all the time is when a guy will lead out after second draw (1:1 usually) with like T7432 or even J7542 and stuff and then pat if you don't raise him - freezing this dude is awesome because his range is so weak and he kills his own equity. You can also mix in the freeze snow when your hand is weak (call behind with 3468K and bet if he checks the end for example)

I don't believe there are any A-5 specific videos, I would say almost all concepts from the 2-7 videos carry over, but I know its not quite the same.
