just thrown it out there jay but i would love a 3 bet to like 20k to make pot like 45k with 30k behind. Perfect spot for like spaz sizing go and go imo. also bet like 8k on the flop when you miss and jam when you hit
Seems to level people hard when i bet like 1/4 with pot size bet left. I dunno just an idea.

What exactly are the lessons from this series? No offense, but it doesn't even seem that you know your own (dynamic) mtt strategy between questioning your own plays consistently, not discussing theory directly much and not breaking down how your play should change vs. difft villains and if/when in different mtt spots (bubble vs FT vs other, for e.g.)
The WSOP mtt reviews (or ansky's wcoop vids), for e.g., were quite high quality mtt content. Understandably nature of your series is different, but again, not clear if there's much value added in this series (decent potential though).

jaime, we talk a lot about go n go's but I think the hand you're referring to I'm in position? I think weaker/active opponents tend to flat 3b's OOP and open jam flops so I prefer to shove with this stack size.
phitlat, thanks for your opinion but I do disagree (naturally
). I don't think there should be a clear set of lessons from each video since poker doesn't boil down to a set of clean takeaways. I also think it would be absurd to try to talk about every hypothetical spot where I would act differently.
I try to make my videos geared towards what I myself would have wanted to see while learning tournament poker. I think my videos are very HUD-heavy (I talk about certain stats a lot such as AF%, limp, and fold to steal to profile villains) and somewhat different from what I've watched (and I've watched a lot). But I won't pretend every play I made is perfect because I still make multiple mistakes per session. It might lift my credibility with viewers but it's not my approach. Keep in mind tournament poker is very flexible and when I draw attention to one of my mistakes, it's one of degree rather than being flagrantly bad. The a9o shove, for example, is probably still "profitable" just not optimal.
And yes, my videos definitely aren't on the level of Ansky or IWEARGOGGLES or Vanessa's! I think DC would charge and receive $100/mo subscription fees or larger if every instructor was of that quality. They are the best in the business.
