You may want to invest in an extra buffalo to sit over the bottom left since HEM shows the current hand and future hands there!
Awesome series so far, really enjoying it.

Can't wait till you guys will be in-laws
I have uploaded new mp4 and iPod versions with a cover for the HEM hands shown. I will have a new wmv up within an hour.

Ok so I have PT3(maybe that's why) but I didn't notice it in the first vid, but I just realized I can see what's behind the buffalo by looking in the bottom left corner. I liken it to being in a live game and a card flashing, or some old guy next to me who looks at his hand in such a way that players on each side can see. I just can't help but look.

the new downloadable versions of this vid do not have this problem anymore, I'll hit up rusty to get the flash version converted.

So the wmv and ipod versions have a cover up, we are having technical difficulties with our server hosting of the mp4/flash version. I will have to have Rob take a look at it in the morning. Sorry guys.

epic fail for showing cards
Request for next week: hands in which we have to decide if we call/raise a turn or riverbet from our opponent. Or in other words hands where our opponent has the initiative.

Are you seeing anything else commonly happening in that range there? I don't think we can fold Kings, but what about Queens? Villain made an unusual play, but when I see it done live, I find they'll do that with lesser pairs as well. If it's a shove it's almost always been AK...with occasional big pairs.

don't think i've ever seen a backraise min5bet. think it's very likely to be AA almost always. obv don't hate felting as that's what i did
Agree with you guys on that last hand pretty much always AA or KK, and sucks that we have KK. SPR too small to set mine your KK LOL, but what else to do? Fold? Shove and hope he's on a leveling bluff? Easy to say fold now after seeing it, but in the moment though not quite as clear as when you can pause and really think it through.

Not only it is mendatory for his overall Range to 5betjam here, but also to not loose here parts of his coolervalue.
I mean,
with small5betting here, there is a very good chance that hands like JJ/QQ and AK could fold.
great 2ndPart - looking forward to the next one - thank you so far![]()
U guys are awesome. Love the series.
One thing. Please put different spot other than "i have a monster, how should i play it". Poker is really all about "playing huge hand" ? I don't think
An other thing witch is not really linked to this vid but why NoashSD is not making midstakes NLHE vids anymore (at least for a while). Because of the last time you "bashed" (know it was not that but can be feel like) him on his last vidéo ? or he's coming back ? i ask because i think you three are the best midstakes coach in DC.
Ty buffalo !
If you're going to change the name of the series, it definitely should be "Where the Bluffalo Roam"...

Thanks so much for the kind words, glad you like it so far.
Of the 6 hands we've discussed, we've had:
set
Ace high draw
2 pair on 4 straight
7 high draw
tptk on paired board in 4bet pot
KK pf when it was likely beat
That said, we'll def try and include some weaker hands.
I'll fwd along your question about Noah to the founders.

Noah's still here, he'll be back, we like giving everyone a really diverse number of POVs, especially with regards to shorthanded NL!

Hey Wilt,
On the 85T board and you check-raise, can you go into a little bit more detail on why the btn should fold AA? Can a good player give you credit for a set so quickly? On such a coordinated board, don't you have so many semi-bluffs?
Thanks
EDIT: Actually nevermind, I just plugged in an extensive range against AA (more than what jk3a did in the video) and I didn't realize that AA played so poorly against semibluff, 2pair, set, and even some combos of air.
Nice vids. I wouldn't make any major changes.

If we assume the button is not getting it in on the flop with just an overpair, would you ever consider raising a hand like AT here to make the button fold his JJ and still get value from the fish?

the idea has merit, but the problem is that we don't know if he'd fold an overpair, just think that he "should"
You guys work well together and I am looking forward to the rest of the series. The only suggestion I have is that neither of you goes over the edge and decides to get all "Wayne Lively" on us. There is not nearly enough wine in all the vineyards, in all the places, in all the world for all that cheese :-)
Great serie so far but
+1 to include some weaker hands and more common spots because the back 5bet of the last hand only happen once in a life and if you fold KK you are a true hero : it is funny but not very useful
I would prefer discussion on like episode 1 hand 1 that was pretty much the nuts... or what to do with some 2nd pair type hand in 3bet pot I have one example in mind :
squeeze from blind with QQ, CO fold, BTN calls
flop KJ7r, I bet he calls
turn T
what's the range here, the best play etc...

You say he should fold AA but you've said this assuming that 88,55,TT is in your perceived range. Do you think that most good villains would check/raise their sets here and not lead them? (since if they do not check/raise BTN is obliged to call a raise).
Also why is folding JJ vs Aarons range the correct play? he has not sets since he leads them and he barely has any combos of two pair. His range is just full of draws. Isn't then the right play vs his range to call looking for safe turns?

I think most people perceive sets/two pair in his c/r range despite his inclination to lead them.
