Rusty, can you please make something about this annoying clicking noise? It's really, really tilty.
CeeGee gives you some razz rundown as he plays $30/60 on two tables.

I listened to it and it looks like CeeGee was having microphone issues - unfortunately there's not much we can do besides scrapping the video entirely to clean up the audio much more. The clicking noise that you're talking about sounds like his mouse (not 100% sure).
I'll talk to CeeGee and find out if he used the wrong microphone; I know he's in Vegas right now and this may have to do with the recording used here.

You fold 873 here agaisnt Ms. Liu opening an A in late position, is this another spot you will 3bet (2bet) a lot? If not, why?

Yeah sorry I cleaned this up to the best of my ability and I didn't think the clicking would be so annoying. If anyone can manage to ignore the clicking, the content is pretty good. Sorry for the bum video guys, but this one is on me more than CeeGee as I probably should not have released it.

Ceegee - Great to see you in Vegas, congrats once again on your great run, and crushing HUHU SNG play vs me! (lucky for me I broke even thanks to DeathDonkey's losses - weeeee!)
You and I play the situation found at 15:09 differently, I just call the completion. Please allow me to explain my thought process, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this issue. My math may be a little rusty because I rushed out this reply, so feel free to correct me if I make a mistake.
As I see it the problem with inflating the pot by raising on 3rd with a 9 up is that you make it more correct for pokerlife81 to play correctly and also make it easier for you to be exploited in the event a bad situation happens on 4th street - accidentally inducing ourselves to fold in a huge pot is a spot we should strive to avoid.
Assuming the bringin is going to fold with his/her Q up (if the Q calls the completion its not that the worst case for us of course) when hero cold calls
1) the villain will catch a 9 or higher - or pair 3rd street 42.31% of the time
2) the hero will catch a "good" non duplicated card 8 or lower 44.44%
Therefore the probability of both 1 and 2 above occurring at the same time is 18.8%, or 4.31:1 against.
Because of this mathematical I am in this spot I often, but not always, choose to keep the pot size small to assure I play more correctly on 4th street (I randomise this decision by passing on the opportunity to raise 4 out of 5 times, and instead call). With that said if the bringin is a fish, and is a serial defender, then I have always assumed it may become more correct to raise on 3rd - but this is a mathematical problem that is not easy to solve unless we know the bringin's probability of calling 2 bets to the face with a Q.
The counter argument is that a bigger pot allows us to peel more correctly on 4th street vs the villain's good 4th street card, its a valid argument, but I don't like getting myself in tough situations with possible reverse implied odds because I chose to inflate the pot when I can avoid them - I have enough stress already in my life ;-) Of course the bigger pot may also induce your opponent to make bigger mistakes as well. Of course the downside of just calling the completion on 3rd is that the strength of your hand is not well hidden, but then again its lso not hidden when we raise so I think that might be a moot point.
All my best....
TT

I think the clicking sound is a preference CeeGee may have accidentally enabled in the screen capture software.

is folding a 256 here standard? I feel like its kind of a monster esp since we're ahead of the 7?
Time Link to 00:28:43
haha, given that you think folding the 567 is a mistake, i think its easy to say the 256 was a misclick as well =)

lol, I doubt this player is making any basic mistakes
he was clearly on a steal
he's one of the best high stakes razz players out there
will get to all your posts soon, just registered for the main event and making plo vids with djsensei so i'm very busy atm

i disagree, i've played pyramid a lot and he makes a lot of basic errors
The clicking noise is the cards being dealt, you can tell because there is a slight delay from when it happens to when the cards are dealt.

This video was recorded in March. Says the hand history.
ya i recorded this awhile ago and just recently released it. I didn't hear the clicking noise when i watched it back tho, so im sorry for that, not sure how it happened.

The comment was not regarding that player

I was confused too, because your comment was right before the hand with pyramid. So you were referring to the hand before it?

Yeah, I probably clicked the timestamp right after the comment, so it's the hand before in which there is a completion and cg raises. The other player then folds 4th when he bricks. Thus, with this player it was definitely just a steal and float (for the raise on 3rd). This player is definitely one of the best around!

I think you missed a jam on 5h here. Even in the worst case scenario (excluding rough 8s from Ms Liu's range and assuming she didnt pair that 6), her equity is still quite poor 3-way, so you and PYRARMID gain from every bet that goes in.
