Nice screen shot, fish.
Joe if you watched the episode, you'd see why my play there is fine.
Fish.
This is a fish. This is a fish. That doesn't make any sense.
At 10:00, you checked 53o from BB after he limps. Flop came 973 and he bets out. Why do you call? He seems passive and you don't beat any pair.
Another good video, great series so far.
At 19:30 you 3bet 95 on a T54r saying "I want to be tougher on dry boards and fast-play them a bit". Could you explain what you mean by that ?
Regarding the last hand (LP fish c/c c/c donks on KQ5,Q,4 and you bluffraise the river) you say that his line doesn't make a lot of sense, but I've seen similar players b/c the river with as weak as 22 on that kind of board (why ? I'll never know), so I'm not sure this is such an easy bluff spot as you make it seem.
Can you explain why you bet out the two times the board made a straight and you didn't have the higher straight? Do you really think you are getting misclicks? And what is your plan when you get raised?
Seems like you freerolled yourself in those hands and were fortunate in both cases that you were in fact chopping.

Not sure about the other one but I genuinely like it vs. the opponent with the 57o. I feel like that guy could actually fold some sort of hand there because he is demoralized/confused. If he raises I am 110% folding because there is no way I win that hand.

Dry board are good for check/raising basically. I like to c/r them as a bluff. When I c/r a board like T54 I want my opponent to think that once I c/r, if you 3-bet, I am going to cap-lead. It prevents me form getting free card played.
A big thing that helps in HULHE is often our opponents don't differentiate our play in position vs. OOP. So if I am stubborn on a board with a made hand OOP, he will often assume I will act the same in position.
W/regards to my bluff raise - wow you're right I see 22 there sometimes. However, I see it a lot more often when the river pairs the queen. I still think that it's a small enough part of his range and vs. this particular opponents it was kind of no-brainer.
Now, if you're playing against some dude who c/c, c/c, donk ATo on a 8722Q, well then you're spewing there.

10 minutes in and I believe no flops had gone check/check yet. It was maybe the 1st time I'd checked? Felt like it and I certainly hadn't c/c'.
You can fold there though for sure.

I agree with this. Some time ago I and another DC'er spent a good amount of time looking at betting and also calling in made straight on board spots.
Unless the pot is huge and your opponent is drunk or blind, betting is a mistake.
and if both players involved have this knowledge, calling a bet here in a small pot is a huge mistake.
and I know what your thinking, we can go back and forth here...lol...true but not optimal.
but bottom line is...just check and chop.
and if the other guy bets, remember you are calling to chop!
and Danza, Is "controlled maniac" a decent approach to HUHU?
"controlled maniac" a decent approach to poker?
fyp
and that 57o, that guy was a certain special someone
This video made me want to go and play some poker. Great vid.
Just want to say how much I love 5 card straights on the board in huhu matches, because fishy opponents lose their mind on the river. I had one the other day where a guy raised me and called a 3 bet on a 789TJ board, him playing the board, I was not.
