Great series that really makes me wanna get out to the casino.
About the player that was berating you for the 87 hand, does the dealer ever speak up and tell guys like that to STFU or do you just have to deal with it yourself?
Also I noticed this vid is misstagged as NLHE.

No, I wouldn't expect the dealer to say anything, they're definitely not supposed to, and I don't want them to.

I have a rather mundane question. Are you able to remember the details of these hands or do you take notes atvthe table? If so, how are you taking notes? Do you carry a pad, voice recorder, iPhone, etc.?
I type notes into my phone (not an iPhone, just regular but it does have full QWERTY) shortly after the hands occur. It probably just looks like I'm texting.

This post is different than buying the button. Its when you're in a must-post game and a new player can post a bb between the sb and button. Notice that next hand he will not receive the button, it will go one seat to the poster's left. IMO it's better to wait one hand for the button to pass and post behind in must-post games.

Thanks for the explanation. I am not sure if it was must-post (I'm not familiar with that) - it seemed to be more of an option. In any event, I tend to agree with you - I'd rather let the button pass (though my first choice is to take the BB in turn).

for reference I play at the bellagio very frequently and if its checked back on the river, last action does not have to show first. It's just position. So some of the spots where you would have liked to know their hand, well you can, just wait and make them show their hand. Secondly, bellagio games give you the option to post or take the blinds. The two most logical plays are to post inbetween, meaning inbetween the SB and button, and then the button passes you, or to post immediately after the button passes. just fyi.
